The mission of
the Alzheimer's Network of Oregon
is to support the
educational, social, emotional, and spiritual needs
of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other
dementias, their
families and caregivers as well as to raise public
awareness of the disease.
The work of
the mission is accomplished through information and referral
services, care planning, early stage programs,
information campaigns,
education programs, and advocacy.
As Margaret
Mead once said:
"Never doubt that a small group
of
thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has!"
