Dorothy Straw retired as a rehabilitation nurse from
Providence Medical Center in Medford, OR in 1992 and
began her second career as a certified gerontology
nurse in 1994.
She was the
administrator of the Trinity Respite Center in
Ashland, OR until retiring in 2000.
She has worked closely
with caregivers through education and
training to help them not only survive but thrive.
